We know budgeting matters, but because we don’t offer one-size-fits-all studies we can’t list standard prices. Every project is built around your needs and factors outside our control can affect the total cost. That’s why we complete the planning process before providing a quote.
Most projects cost between $1,000 and $5,000, though some fall outside that range. Survey consulting and design are typically at the lower end, while more complex consumer studies cost more. Even our most expensive studies are priced where most other insights firms begin, reflecting the efficiency of our focus on exclusively serving small businesses and nonprofits.

No, we will never offer a subscription or ask for a retainer fee. Our value is in being there when you need us, not making you pay for services you may not use. While we can provide recurring services the Porch Swing model is based around individual projects.

Every project is a little different but we always follow the same essential process:
The process starts with a virtual meeting. Speak with an analyst who will listen to your needs, explain some potential solutions, and answer any questions.
We provide a project plan that explains what we’ll deliver, estimated timeline, and cost. You review and together we work on revisions and updates.
We don’t begin work until we’re both aligned on the plan and you feel confident in giving us the green light.
We dive in and execute the plan with occasional check-ins to keep everyone up to date.
Once the work is complete, we’ll walk you through our findings and discuss what they mean. You’re welcome to ask any questions so you leave with the insights you need.

A.I. is only a small tool in a much larger consumer insights toolbox. We now have several years of experience in using A.I. in a variety of ways and we’ve learned what it can and cannot do. In insights and other fields the benefits of A.I. are being overpromised, ignoring both data quality issues and the missing empathy that’s a large part of understanding how consumers act and think. After all, your consumer isn’t A.I.-powered so, why should insights about them be?
We do leverage some A.I. tools to streamline a few otherwise tedious processes but, nothing we deliver to you is A.I. generated.You can count on Porch Swing Insights to never:
Deliver an A.I. generated report to you
Use A.I. to “synthesize” data (let A.I. “make up” data)
Make you talk to an A.I. “assistant”
Replace a job with A.I.
